Amazon.com Product Description The Casio Forester moon phase fishing watch is the perfect timepiece for avid anglers, with a stylish design well suited for both land and sea wear. In addition to the automatic time, day, month and date displays, this convenient digital watch also indicates the best times to fish based on the moon's phase, latitude and longitude. The watch displays the moon's age, phase and time, as well as sunrise and sunset information, for the current or designated day. A handy vibration alert can be used with the daily alarm, hourly time signal, or fishing timer so as not to disturb the quiet on the water. The watch also offers a time memo, a 1/100 second stopwatch, and five daily alarm settings. An automatic electro-luminescent backlight with afterglow makes the display easy to read at any time, and the water-ready nylon band comes with a buckle clasp. The case is made from durable polyurethane resin, the bezel is resin and the watch is water resistant up to 330 feet (100 meters). This watch is backed by a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty and offers a battery life of approximately five years.

Great watch! just needs to be more user-friendly March 8, 2010 Amber Blankenship (Chehalis, WA) I really like the fishing/moon phase feature. So far, both have been very accurate. Just a couple things I don't like: the plastic face should be glass as it scratches easily, reading the black spots around the outside can be hard to see in certain light conditions. Other than that, this watch is a great value for the price. I would recommend this watch for outdoor person that likes to plan according to moon phase(s) and sunrise/sunset times.
Great Features, Great Price February 13, 2010 A Reader (Portland, OR) I wanted a watch that had a digital time/date, clear moon phase, and sunrise/sunset times. The only other watch I know of that has most of the features of this one is the $600 Yes watch. You can imagine what a pleasant surprise this watch has been! I love the vibrating alarm most of all. I do have to keep the booklet handy to turn of the "time to go fishing" alarms. I'll admit that I don't wear this watch when I dress up. But you won't find anything out there with all of these outdoors features at this low of a price.
Just wish I fished. February 3, 2010 Lawrence J. Alexander (Winchester, VA) Bought this because it was brown--that is all but very happy with the product and like the fact that it is pretty much waterproof to 100 meters (even though 1 meter would probebly be adequate).
Indispensable January 27, 2010 Douglas E. Allen (Santee Cooper Fishing, SC) This most recent purchase of a Casio Men's Pathfinder Forester Fishing Moon Phase Watch is a backup to my orginal watch of similar design. My First Mate and I use these watches on a daily basis, and our records will verify that they are an indispensible part of our fishing strategy. As I am sure you are aware of, the moon phase is not the only factor you need to be aware of in planning for a successful fishing trip, but it is far too important to ignore.

nice watch to have January 24, 2010 wmubroncos (Grand Rapids, MI) this is a nice watch. I really only use it to tell time, but its cool how you can see the moonphase and fishing times. I can't wait to see how accurate it is when the fish are on it. I also like how it vibrates at the top of the hour. The strap is comfortable too. I don't even know I'm wearing it. Not something you'd wear with a suit probably. But when you're just hangin' around and need a good watch that is a good conversation piece, this is it.
